Tunable diaphragm technology, a 3M invention, allows different frequency sounds to be heard by simply adjusting the pressure on the chestpiece. This time-saving feature allows the practitioner to focus on the patient, while the non-chill rims provide comfort for the patient.

Headphone tension is easily adjusted for head size and comfort by squeezing or pulling together the earcups.

3M™ Littmann® Stethoscope Seal Eartips are soft, airtight, and tightly fitting eartips that provide a comfortable fit and excellent acoustic isolation. The durable, next-generation tubing retains its shape and flexibility even after being tightly folded and tucked into a pocket.

Improved resistance to skin oils and alcohols ensures longer stethoscope life and is less likely to stain. The new generation of tubing is free of natural rubber latex and phthalate plasticizers to benefit sensitive clinicians and their patients while also protecting human health and the environment.
