Actolind® w Gel Product Description

Actolind® w Gel is a protective care gel that can be used in combination with medical materials such as bandages, dressings, tampons or wound fillers for the cleansing, decontamination and moisturising of acute and chronic wounds, infected or not, and 1st and 2nd degree burns.

Actolind® w Gel cleans, moisturizes and separates the wound surface from the outer surface by forming a protective film layer. It fills the gap between the dressing and the wound surface and helps shorten the healing process by keeping the wound stable.

Usage

Actolind® w Gel can be applied directly to the wound, or applied to a bandage or gauze. The opened product should be used on a single patient to avoid any risk of contamination. For a healthy wound healing process, wound cleaning and care should be performed at regular intervals.

Indications

Actolind® w Gel is indicated for the care of acute and chronic wounds, whether infected or not, wounds resulting from electric current, radiation wounds, insertion sites of urological catheters, peristomal skin, fistulas and abscesses, and before the application of materials such as bandages, dressings, compresses and wound fillers. It is used to care for the surface, moisturize it and cover it with a protective layer. It creates a barrier between the wound and the dressing and helps prevent drying and sticking.
