We can set the desired steam option with the illuminated control button (the S button in the middle of the on-off button).

If the indicator lights (first) are on, it is giving warm steam. If all the indicator lights (first and second) are on, it is giving hot steam. If none of the indicator lights are on, it is giving cold steam.
