Biatain® Ag Non-Adhesive provides superior absorption capacity. This is made possible by the product's unique 3D foam structure. Its structure adapts perfectly to the wound bed, even at the first moment of contact. This adaptation ensures successful exudate absorption of the product - even under compression.
Designed to Prevent Infection
Biatain® Ag Non-Adhesive provides infection prevention through a long-term silver release profile. This profile creates a continuous antibacterial interaction with a homogeneous silver ion distribution throughout the entire wear period (up to 7 days).
Patented Silver Complex with Broad Antibacterial Profile
Several independent studies have proven that Biatain® Ag is effective on non-healing wounds that harbor bacteria. Clinical studies have shown that infected wounds heal faster with Biatain® Ag than with other antibacterial dressings.

Biatain® Ag Non-Adhesive is a patented soft and flexible absorbent polyurethane foam with a silver complex evenly distributed throughout the foam matrix.
Use
The liner has multiple uses. It is used for a wide range of exuding wounds that have delayed healing due to bacteria or are at risk of infection, including leg ulcers, pressure sores, diabetic foot ulcers, second degree burns, donor sites, postoperative wounds and skin abrasions. The product can also be used in combination with compression therapy.
