Mechanism of Action

The unique 3D foam structure absorbs exudate vertically, locking the fluid within its structure while still leaving the wound moist, providing good conditions for moist wound healing.

Biatain® Adhesive is a soft, conformable polyurethane foam dressing with a hydrocolloid adhesive border.

Use

Biatain® Adhesive can be used for a wide variety of exuding wounds including leg ulcers, pressure sores, second degree burns, donor sites, postoperative wounds and skin abrasions. Biatain® Adhesive can be used in combination with compression therapy.
