Purilon Gel - Hydrogel for Wound Healing and Necrotic Tissue Removal
Necrotic tissue and crusts delay wound healing. Necrotic tissue and crusts in the wound bed must be removed and cleaned for new tissue formation and wound healing. Purilon gel is a hydrogel that has absorption and dilution properties, promotes natural autolytic debridement and provides moist wound healing.
Properties of Purilon Gel
The gel moisturizes when necessary and absorbs the discharge and debrided tissues when necessary. It absorbs dissolved necrosis, crusts and excess discharge. Thanks to its very good absorption feature, it reduces the risk of leakage and maceration. It is used especially in dry and moist necrotic wounds, as well as in mixed wounds where dead tissue and new tissue coexist. It is also used as a support material in general moist wound healing.
User Manual
| Steps |

| 1- Wash the wound |
| 2- Remove the label from the product |
| 3- Remove the tip by breaking it |
| 4- Apply the gel on the wound. |
| 5- Cover with a second dressing. A thinner or thicker dressing is recommended depending on the amount of exudate. |
| The gel change interval can be up to 3 days. |
