Arterial Bleeding Band
It is a tape used to stop bleeding from arteries in the arms and legs.
APPLICATION
The band is wrapped tightly over the bleeding area. The blood stops as the artery is compressed. However, it should be loosened every 20 minutes .
Wounded Transport
When transporting the injured person, the time at which this procedure was performed should be written on a piece of paper and attached to the injured person.
