Hemostatic Sponge

Galenaspon is a compressed surgical hemostatic sponge and is produced from highly purified neutral gelatin. It is used in various surgical procedures where traditional hemostatics are difficult to use or cannot be used, or where the use of materials that are difficult to absorb is not desired. It is placed in double sterilized blister packs. It is sterilized with gamma rays in the package and can be offered in different sizes if desired.

Galenaspon absorbs approximately 40-50 times its weight in water and easily adapts to the bleeding area. It guarantees a suitable hemostatic action with its uniform pore structure. Once placed in vivo, it is completely absorbed within 3-4 weeks.
