Heimlich Valve - Heimlich Valve
The Heimlich Chest Valve is a specially designed product that replaces the chest drain underwater bottle. Made of rubber tubing, the valve comes with a leaflet that controls unidirection flow. The valve is stored in a clear plastic compartment with tapered ends.
Valve Housing and Assembly
The valve housing is located at the proximal end of the chest catheter, which can be mounted at the distal end for tubing into which a plastic bag is poured. If desired, the distal end can be connected to a regulated suction.
Cleaning and Use
The Heimlich Chest Release Valve is a sterile, single-use device.
