It is used in fractures of the distal end of the 5th metacarpal bone (Boxer's fracture), fractures of the 2nd - 3rd - 4th metacarpals, compression fractures of the metacarpal bones and phalanges (finger bones), traumatic injuries of the 2nd - 3rd - 4th - 5th MP and IP joints.
