People with Parkinson's disease can sometimes not walk because they are locked.
During this locking, they may be able to talk and move their arms and legs, but they may not be able to walk.
There needs to be a stimulus to break this lock/freeze in the brain.
These stimuli may include clapping your hands, walking by stepping on pieces of paper placed in front of the patient, or aiming to step on horizontal lines drawn inside the house.
However, Parkinson's patients experience difficulties if there is no one around to help them and who is aware of their condition.
This is what the Parkinson's cane is designed for.
When the patient is locked and presses the cane down, a red/green line appears on the ground.
The patient aims to cross this line and the lock/freeze in the brain is released and the patient begins to walk.
The superior quality Parkinson's cane has been tried on many patients.
It has been observed that the locking/freezing problem has been resolved in many patients.
