For additional security, you can stick the extra Medipore surgical plaster strips provided in the bag to the catheter wings to obtain a stronger fixation. The air-permeable film barrier covers the entire dressing, while the Medipore patch extension ensures long-term fixation of the catheter, ensuring optimum protection of the IV site.
